Labor Day Fun

So we had three birthday's over the labor day holiday. My hubby, My mother-in-law, and Grandma. It is family tradition to take everyone up to Ephraim and hang out for the holiday and do the whole birthday thing. It was really fun. Kelsey got to see great grandma and she played with her new cousin Ray. It was a great day until we left. We hit a terrible storm on the way home. Kelsey started screaming in the back seat, "ma, I tired, I sleep." I felt so bad she couldn't get comfy in her car seat and Dave couldn't see the road there was so much rain. Talk about a stressful 2 hour driver home. Kelsey finally fell asleep about 2100 s in salt lake which made it a little easier. We got home and it was pooring still. Dave got out and ran to the door to unlock it. Mean while I was in the car gearing up for the puddles. I rolled my pants up, stepped out fussed with Kelsey's car seat and ran to the door with the sleeping baby. She was so mad she got wet. I put Kelsey down and she feel right back to sleep. I didn't even put her in her jammies she was so tired. It was a peaceful night after that. Be careful on all outings over the holiday's the screaming kid in the car can just add to tension and make everyone upset.
